A Little About Us
The mission of KwetuHub, a programming school for kids is to provide a fun and engaging way for children to learn computer programming skills.
Programming is becoming an increasingly important skill in the modern world, and teaching children how to code at a young age can help them develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and creativity. We aim to make learning to code accessible and enjoyable, regardless of a child’s prior experience or background.
One of the key goals of a programming school for kids is to inspire a love for technology and programming in children. This can be achieved by using interactive and engaging teaching methods such as games, puzzles, and group projects.
The school should also aim to foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable learning and asking questions. By instilling a love for programming in children at a young age, a programming school for kids can help prepare them for success in future careers in technology, as well as equip them with valuable skills that they can use throughout their lives.
Our Classes
Choose a Class for Your Child
GRADE 1- 3
Kids
For kids aged 6-8 years, we introduce coding in a playful and interactive way.
Visual programming languages like Kano Draw and a little bit of Scratch are used to create simple animations, stories, and games by dragging and snapping colorful blocks of code.
The focus is developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity through coding activities that incorporate storytelling and visuals.
GRADE 4 - 6
Preteens
In the age group of 9-11 years, kids start exploring more advanced coding concepts using Scratch.
They learn to write code using syntax, create more complex projects, and experiment with variables, loops, and conditional statements.
We encourage collaborative projects, challenges, and problem-solving activities which helps them deepen their understanding of coding.
GRADE 7 - 9
Teens
For kids aged 12-14 years, the focus shifts towards building real-world applications and projects.
We continue to enhance their skills in text-based programming languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
We guide them on projects in web development.
